Matt L. T. Smith
A Liminal Space, a Forest
I have spent my soul here, it’s time to say “so long!”
to these bricks, slip into the sylvan fissure where no man’s an island.
You can’t be alone surrounded by forest, just talk to the trees.
I’m sick of latency, by the time they hear me I will be dead.
I am praying for connection knowing only a fire can lead me out.
